The workshops use a fun 'Story Trifle' method for planning a story, using the children's own ideas and imagination to bring the sessions to life.  On both workshops, I share some of my experiences growing up with shyness and anxiety and easy things children can do to help.

There are two versions of the workshops, one for Reception to Year 2 where we have fun drawing characters from their story and there is a visit from the Rickster Raccoon puppet who is the character from the Cherry Bakewell books and a more advanced workshop for Years 3 to 6 where I describe how to make a 'Story Trifle' and get them to make their own.

There will be an opportunity for the children to purchase signed books at a special workshop price and this will be done on a pre-order basis.  Orders must be received no later than 3 weeks before the workshop.  We also discuss the use of descriptive language to enhance their text.

Prices are £75 per workshop (+ 45p per mile travel expenses) with a maximum of three workshops per day.  Schools will be invoiced after the workshops.  If you would like to receive further information or book a workshop for your school, please contact me via my contact page.
